Nara Community Early Learning Centre is a community run, non-profit early learning service, including a 4 year old funded kindergarten program,
located on the grounds of the Melbourne Polytechnic Campus in Preston.
We currently cater for 68 children per day, ranging from 6 months to school entry age.

Nara is an Aboriginal Indigenous word meaning 'companion'.
It represents our values of respect for cultural diversity and the social and linguistic needs of all families.

Opening hours
Monday to Friday 7.30am - 6.00pm

We are closed on all Victorian public holidays and for 3 weeks over the Christmas and New Year break.

Nara was established as a community based child care centre in 1989 and is managed by a management committee.
