Hi, my name is Teresa

I’m a qualified Early Childhood educator and have been working with children for over 12 years.
 I've been working at Nara part time since 2010 as an integration aid reliever and will continue to do so.
 My philosophy has evolved over the years through studying, workshops, reading knowledge of child development.

 I believe children learn best when experiences are meaningful extensions of their own interest.  The program should emerge from the children and children should be encouraged to explore as there is no limit to their imagination.  I especially enjoy watching children explore their natural environment and materials.

I'm Australian born with Spanish and Australian heritage.  I am currently studying my Bachelor of Education (Early Years) at NMIT and aim to be a Primary School teacher.  I believe all children have a strong sense of identity.
